Bigjigs Toys are proud to announce their intentions to attempt to break The Guinness World Record™ attempt for the Longest Wooden Toy Train Track!
The monumental record attempt will be held at Chatham Dockyard on the 26th July 2012 and is free for the public to come and see.
We will be using over 10,000 pieces of track to reach our target of 2012 metres.
Spectators are invited along to cheer on the Bigjigs Toys team from 10am onwards for free of charge, where we expect to complete the attempt by 4pm.
Members of the public can be a part of the monumental challenge by sponsoring pieces of wooden track for just £1 each; with all proceeds being split equally between Chatham Dockyard Locomotive Restoration Fun and Demelza House Children’s Charity. If you cant make the day and would like to sponsor a piece of track please do here!
There will also be competitions, play area’s and other bits and bobs throughout the day – so bound to be a fun filled day for everyone!
Make a day of it and come and see our Guinness World Record Attempt and visit Peppa Pig & George at the Dockyard.
You can keep up to date of how we get on here on our blog or at Bigjigs Rail.
